La Causa

La Causa is the established cultural, political, and service organization for students interested in LatinX issues & cultural awareness. We meet weekly in the José Martí room located on the lower level of Keefe Campus Center. La Causa's main role on campus is to provide visibility and a safe space for LatinX students and allies. In La Causa, we regularly discuss aspects of our culture and organize events to generate community and engage the campus population. Some of Causa's most successful events in the past include Voices (diaspora Spoken word poetry concert), Cooking night, LatinX Legacy Month celebrations, LatinX Themed parties and Alumni receptions.
