In their own words
The purpose of this organization is to help students develop the necessary analytical skills for careers in sports analytics. Additionally, this organization will also educate students about general opportunities to work in sports and help students meet and make meaningful connections with Amherst alumni and other professionals that currently work in the sports industry. Lastly, this club will attend sports conferences and participate in sports analytics competitions.
