In their own words
SSL is a club for students looking to advocate for changes to make campus more sustainable. The club is a great way to get to know the sustainability community at Amherst, as well as learn to advocate within Amherst. Currently, we are working on initiatives to bringing a composting pilot to the residence halls, reduce the use of pesticides on college property and researching and creating a sustainable procurement policy for the college so that clothing the school buys is more sustainable.
