In their own words
Voices of Equity at Amherst (VOE) was founded in the Fall of '25 to empower students, community leaders, and future healthcare professionals to raise awareness, take action, and drive meaningful change in the fight for health equity.
Our mission is to educate, inspire, and empower future healthcare leaders on issues of health equity through impactful storytelling, educational content, and community-based initiatives that lead to tangible change.
We believe that every student can be a changemaker. Through workshops, reflective dialogues, and collaborative projects, we aim to raise awareness about health disparities and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals to prioritize equity, empathy, and justice in their work.
Joining VOE provides students with a platform to learn from lived experiences and expert insights, while actively contributing to a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
